This car appears to share its tooling with Pemco's 50ft. Double Plug Door Box Car offering. Pemco examples do carry the Pemco name on the underframe and Hong Kong for their origin marks. The AHM examples are known to have CTC Hong Kong as origin marks on the underframe. AHM appears to have had this car first in the late 1970s.
