AHM introduces three Old-Time freight cars to its line in 1966. The cars are late 1800s prototypes. The Old-Time Tank Car is a flat car measuring 34-feet holding a pair of 5-foot tall and 9-foot round tanks on its bed. The car originally retailed for $2.49. The car's tooling was shared by AHM's Old-Time Gondola (No. 6248) and Old-Time Flat Car (No. 6245).
