You will note there are two variations to the tooling on this AHM 40-foot Box Car. The MKT example features claws or feet on the corners of the sliding door to allow the door to slide and stay on its rails. The other examples shown on this page do not include this detail. The non-claw example matches the tooling found on the Bachmann HO-scale 41' Steel Box Car. Both the Bachmann and this AHM are products of Taiwan/Hong Kong and manufactured by Kader.
