AHM lists this car as an Airslide Hopper in its November 1977 ad in
Railroad Model Craftsman magazine. Model Railroader magazine reviews this AHM model at the time of its 1975
introduction. The review states the prototype is an American Car & Foundry pressure-unloading 45-foot covered hopper first
seen in 1964. The review puts the AHM model approximately a scale foot too long.
