Operating Signal Man

Arriving in the 1969-70 TYCO catalog for $8 and listed as Lighted Shanty
w/Operating Signalman, this accessory was later simply referred to as Operating Signal Man. Similar in principle to the No.908
Crossing Gate, this item used a plastic panel between the rails that activated a small figure that would exit the shanty as
the door automatically opened. The Operating Signal Man was unemployed after his appearance in the 1982 TYCO catalog.
