The first order of B&O GP38 diesels arrived in a group of 50 delivered in 1967. Baltimore &
Ohio received an additional twenty GP38 diesels from EMD in 1970 that carried roadnumbers 4800-4819. C&O brought 50 examples
of its own to Chessie System, numbered 3850-3899.
The Atlas Master Line GP38 release of 2002 included B&O, C&O, and no numbered examples. Both
the B&O and C&O match prototypes.
