Athearn delivers its Streamline Passenger Car models in the fall of 1955.  Model Railroader's October '55 Trade Topics column features a review of the Streamline Coach and mention is made of the Mail Car (RPO), Dome, and Observation Cars.

A finished example of the 1955 Athearn Streamline Coach, as it appeared in the October '55 Model Railroader.  Note the variation to the coupler area on the end of the car versus more contemporary examples.
