The fall of '76 is the date for this teaser regarding the Athearn
Railbox model. A major dry spell would begin following the 1976 issue of the Railbox, Athearn would not release another
new addition to its freight car line until 1993 and the Double Door Railbox offering.
A February 1976 Railroad Model Craftsman article, "Railbox: Nation-Wide Boxcar Pool" by Robert
Mohowski states Railbox came into being in January 1974.
