Originally offering in 1976, the early '80s brings AHM's revised SW-1 that featured a brakeman figure standing out on the unit's front porch area holding a lighted lantern. Examining samples shows no variation was made to the tooling to add the figure and light, both are connected to the model by the light's wiring and place free standing on the loco's front porch.
