Mantua Hudson

Mantua introduces four new steam engines in the company's 1979 catalog. The Hudson 4-6-4 found on this webpage, shares some base pieces with two other new for 1979 offerings: Berkshire 2-8-4 and Decapod 2-10-0. The other new steamer in 1979 was the Consolidation 2-8-0. Mantua rosters a trio roadnames (Boston & Albany, The Milwaukee Road, and Santa Fe) for the Hudson in 1979, plus an undecorated kit. The ready to run retail price for the Hudson was $55 in 1979. The kit for the Hudson was $45.
