Researching Life-Like catalogs, the first appearance is in 1974. The 1973 Life-Like catalog includes the Hamburger Stand carrying stock number S359K, similar to the Freezee's early number. Following the removal of the McDonald's/Hamburger Stand from the line, Life-Like re-tooled components of that original release into the Freezee kit.  If you compare the kits, you'll see some very similar pieces.
