Bachmann adds passenger service to its N-scale line in 1969. Two heavyweight passenger cars (65' Standard Combine and 65' Standard Coach) are joined by state of the art Budd Metroliners and United Aircraft Turbos. The United Aircraft Turbo Coach is listed among Roling Stock in '69 with two roadnames (Penn Central and CN) present and a $3 retail. The illustraion throughout the 1969 Bachmann catalog is a prototype image. The Canadian National road name drops from the Bachmann line in the early 1970s, leaving the Penn Central as the only road offered according to the product catalogs. As of 1976, the UA Turbo disappears from Bachmann's catalog.
