The 1970 Bachmann catalog is the first to present the 41' Hi-Cube Box Cars in the N-scale line. Six roadnames (Burlington, IC, Milwaukee, Rio Grande, Santa Fe, and UP) made up the first collection in 1970. The retail price is $1.50 originally. The 1970 catalog illustration appears to be an Athearn HO-scale example in Santa Fe paint.
