Bachmann introduces its Auto-Train inspired Rolling Stock in 1975 to both N- and HO-scale. The U36B, introduced in 1973, was given Auto-Train paint in 1975 and a new tooling Canadian-prototype 76-foot Auto Transporter and 85' Budd Full Dome Passenger Car are new. The Auto Transporter is cataloged with a $6 retail and Auto-Train is the only roadname in the catalog for 1975. This car was also introduced in 1975 to HO-scale. It appears the 1980 Bachmann catalog is the final one to include the Auto Transporter.
