Arriving with Lionel's 1981 catalog is the Canadian Pacific dressed SD-24. The catalog states the model is a high nosed SD-24 Flat Top diesel. The tooling appears to be the familiar Lionel GP-9 with a cab revision changing the original rounded cab roof into a Spartan-style cab found on EMD's GP35 and other models.
