Life-Like shows a pair of Buildems business kits in its 1973 Landscaping and Scenic Materials catalog. The 7-Eleven is listed as it often was by the company as a Convenience Food Store and retailed for $3 in its kit form. The other Buildems business kit in 1973 was Life-Like's Hamburger Stand, which had been the recalled McDonald's.

This kit is among Life-Like's buildings found in the 1974 catalog, but is not officially labeled a "7-Eleven" as many might assume. The retail price for the kit in 1974 was $4.00.

Convenience Store -Assembled
No. S361F -1973 Release

This pre-assembled 7-Eleven kit is presented in Life-Like's 1973 Landscaping and Scenic Material catalog. The assembled example is shown with a $7 price that year.  I don't find the assembled kits listed beyond this single catalog and can not confirm their existence. The pre-assembled collection included this kit, the Hamburger Stand, and the three suburban homes.
