El Capitan Passenger Set

A very modest representation of Santa Fe's then Hi-Level equipped
El Capitan was sold as a TYCO train set in 1960 with a Santa Fe F-9A pulling a Streamline Coach and Steamline Obsveration
Car.
Gandy Dancer
(No.T608)
All dressed in bright yellow, this set included a Union Pacific
Booster 0-4-0 Steamer with Snow Plow (T832); Derrick Car (T325); Gondola (T310) with 3 Culvert Pipe Sections (T831);
the 40' Utility Tank Car (T328); and a Gandy Dancer Bunk Car (T321). The Utility Tank Car included in the
Gandy Dancer set is not listed among TYCO's Rolling Stock offerings for 1960. The item is the 40' Flat Car with the
three barrels used on the 1860-series Water Car. The Utility Tank Car does appear the next year, 1961, among individually
available freight cars in the TYCO catalog.

Set included TYCO's F9-A, Stock Car, Flat Car with Stake Panels, Gondola, and 4-Wheel
Caboose. A blue and yellow Santa Fe F9-A and ATSF Caboose made the set stock number T604; with and Atlantic Coast Line
F9-A and ACL Caboose it was set T603. Either way the set listed for $14.98 in 1960. TYCO also offered both sets
with the .5-amp Power Pack, No.T834, which added $5 to the retail and a "P" suffix to the stock numbers.
Old Strap Hanger Tandem Street Car Set

Contained a pair of red and yellow Coney Island lettered TYCO Trolley Cars; 4 Curved Roadway
Sections; 1 Straight and 1 Straight Terminal Section. Priced at $10.98 in 1960.

Set consisted of an 0-4-0; Gondola; Box Car; Flat Car with Stake
Panels; and 4-Wheel Caboose. A New York Central 0-4-0 and Caboose made it set T605; a Great Northern 0-4-0 and Caboose
was set T606. Both retailed for $14.98 in 1960. Add TYCO's T834 .5-amp Power Pack and they became T605P and T606P
and sold for $19.98.

The same contents as TYCO's Santa Fe El Capitan set (T609), but dressed for service with the
New Haven. One New Haven F-9A leading a Streamlined Coach and Streamline Observation Car.

Chemcial Tank Car; Stock Car; Box Car; and Reefer, plus a Streamline Cupola Caboose. With Rio Grande power and matching
Caboose this was TYCO's T612 Pacemaker Set; C&O equipment made it set T611. Both retailed for $24.95 in 1960.

A Pennsy Shifter 0-4-0 powered this set which included the Animated
Brakeman Box Car; 2-bay Operating Hopper Car (T330); Chemical Tank Car; and Streamline Cupola Caboose.
