The 1971-72 TYCO catalog displays the company's Prairie
for $22 fully built and lettered Santa Fe. A kit version (#7707) is also available, selling for $16. The Prairie is shown
in Pennsylvania in 1972-73 and 1973-74 and is still selling for $22.
The 1974-75 catalog has the Prairie selling for
$25 and is shown decorated for Pennsylvania. The 1975-76 catalog features the Prairie again in Pennsy and all sells for $28
in fully constructed versions. The Prairie kit is $19 in the 1975-76 catalog. The 1976 catalog has the Prairie for $34 ready-to-run
in Pennsy, with a kit version selling for $22. For 1977, the Prairie is $37 with the kit selling for $26.
The Prairie
is gone with the arrival of the 1978 catalog. The steam engine kits are also absent beginning in 1978.
