Appearing twice in TYCO's 1970s train line, the General Loco
and Tender 4-4-0 (#210), was first found in the company's 1976 catalog. For 1976, the General sold in a ready-to-run
version decorated Western & Atlantic for $40. A General Loco kit (#7705) in the bicentennial year sold for $25.
The
General returns one more time for 1977. That year, the ready-to-run General is priced at $42; the kit is $29.
