A fairly rare occurance in the ready-to-run train market is a set featuring a GM&O locomotive.  Life-Like's Freight King is a new item in the 1980 catalog.  The set had a Gulf Mobile & Ohio red and white GP38-2 up front with a Box Car; Cattle Car; Log Dump Car; and Searchlight Car.  The track plan built a 36" x 45" oval that could be elevated with the included 14-piece Trestle Set and Blinking Bridge accessories.  Additionally, the set included the Operating Log Unloader and power pack.  The same set returns for '81 and is listed with a retail of $61 that year.  It is gone in 1982's catalog, the Big Duke set introduced in '82 has contents similar to the Freight King.
