This set is featured in Life-Like's 1974 catalog and retailed that year for $45.  The set appears to have been offered only decorated for Santa Fe.  The Coastal Express was made up of a powered and non-powered pair of F-7A units pulling a trio of lighted passenger cars (All Dome; Coach; Obs).  The track plan built an oval and the set included a power pack.
