Cox first begins offering HO-scale trains with Athearn-produced
models in the early 1970s. For 1974, Cox introduced a new line of trains imported from Hong Kong that featured an F3-A
and low-nose GP9. Cox's line also included the interesting TrainScapes series with Dockside and Big Pine Lumber accessories.
