Building Kit
Arlee Station
No. 5823
The Arlee Station structure kit has enjoyed
a long history in the hobby. I first find Arlee Station as a scratch-built model featured in the October 1967 issue of Railroad
Model Craftsman magazine.
The kit is made by Pola in West Germany and was part of both the AHM line and TYCO's line during the 1970s. TYCO would continue
to catalog its Arlee Station TYCOKIT into the early '90s and the end of the company's HO-scale model train line. AHM appears
to have dropped its Arlee Station release by 1981, as it is no longer present in company listings in the '80s.
During the 1990s and into the 21st century, IHC included the Arlee Station in its releases at times. Walthers imported this
kit in late 2014 as its Trainline series Iron Ridge Station.
