This kit is listed as a new item in AHM's 1984 product catalog.  This image provided in the catalog is a drawing that doesn't reflect the appearance of the actual model.  This kit, along with a Burger King (No.15401) and Pizza Hut (No.15402), were listed by AHM as Masterpiece 'S' Series kits in 1984.  They were promoted as having easy snap together construction and included lighting kits.
