About The Author

Beginning with the March 1970 edition of Railroad Model Craftsman, Life-Like's name starting appearing on ads for HO-scale trains.  Prior to this March '70 date, the train line was found under Varney's name.  Life-Like's participation in the model train market does extend back before this spring of 1970 date, as the company offered scenery materials before the purchase of the Varney train line.
