1966 Catalog

  This 1966 catalog was Lionel's final one to include 1/87th sized model trains, until the company's return in 1974 to HO.
  By the mid-1960s, Lionel was producing its own HO-scale trains. Lionel entered the HO market originally in 1957 with Rivarossi and later Athearn made items. What you find displayed here for its 1966 collection was all Lionel made. The company had purchased the toolings of John English-Hobbyline and had created some items of its own.
