Bachmann introduced the N-scale Alco RS-3 diesel in the 2012 catalog. Six road names are included
in the first release: Boston & Maine, D&RGW, Western Maryland, Southern, Pennsylvania, and New York Central. The model is
one of Bachmann's DCC on Board releases and includes factory-installed dual-mode NMRA-compliant decoder. The RS-3 has eight-wheel
drive, dual precision-balanced brass flywheels, die-cast chassis, blackened nickel silver wheels, road specific headlights,
and E-Z Mate Mark II couplers. The retail is $130.
