A 2004 addition to Bachmann's Spectrum series of N-scale locmotive releaes was the HHP-8 Electric. Three Amtrak examples are included in the 2004 catalog. The model featured factory installed DCC decoder, 8-wheel drive with a 5-pole motor, die-cast chassis, and metal pantograph. The retail was $160.
