Below are the train sets featured in TYCO's 1969-70 product catalog.  It should be noted that TYCO did produce sets exclusively for sellers such as Sears that would not be found in this listing.

The Booster Special

Set included a New York Central 0-4-0 II Booster Locomotive with operating headlight; Skid Flat Car with Culvert Pipe; Refrigerator Car; 8-wheel New York Central Caboose; 1 section 18" radius curved terminal track; 11 sections 18" radius curved track.  The 1969 retail for the non-power pack version was $16; with power pack the set sold for $23.

This set's contents included a lighted powered F-9 Diesel; 50' Box Car; Hopper Car; Skid Flat with Culvert Pipe; 8-wheel Caboose; 1 section 18" radius terminal curved track; 11 sections 18" radius curved track.  The set sold with power pack for $26 and without power pack for $19 in 1969.

Set included a lighted Pennsy 0-4-0 Shifter Loco and Tender; 50' Box Car; Log Transport Car; Hopper Car; 8-wheel Pennsylvania Caboose; 1 section 18" radius terminal curved track; 11 sections 18" radius curved track.  The set minus power pack sold for $24; and was $31 equipped with a power pack.

The Golden West

Set included a Santa Fe 4-6-0 Rogers Locomotive and Tender with operating headlight; 1890 Passenger Baggage/Combine Car; 2 1890 Passenger Coach Cars; 1 18" radius curved terminal track; 11 sections 18" radius curved track; 1 9" straight track; 1 9" straight rerailer.  This set with a power pack sold for $38; without power pack $31 was the retail.

The Alco Diesel Freight

The Super Chief

This set included a lighted powered Santa Fe F-9 "A" unit; non-powered F-9 "B" unit; dual lighted Baggage Combine; 2 dual lighted Passenger Cars; dual lighted Observation Car; 14 sections of track, with rerailer, to make 45" x 36" oval.  The set sold for $42 (with power pack) and was also available without power pack for $35 in the 1970-71 TYCO catalog.

The Royal Blue
