TYCO's first year of offering Super Blocks included both Pre-School and regular Super Blocks sets. The product line was given the opening portion of the 1984 annual catalog. The first two pages boasted the benefits of TYCO's Super Blocks products. Namely that Super Blocks were compatible with the popular Lego blocks and the lower cost of TYCO's competing product.

Pages 4 through 6 highlighted the first five Pre-School Super Blocks Deluxe Buildings Sets. Continuing with the regular size Super Blocks, the 1984 catalog's pages 7-9 presented the first six Deluxe Building Sets.

The second year of inclusion in TYCO's annual catalogs, 1985, brings the introduction of Super Blocks Space and Castle theme sets. There are four new Space sets and a pair of new Castle sets. Two new Super Blocks sets for '85 include a small 45-piece starter set and a 265-piece set, plus a Deluxe Storage Case.

The Pre-School Super Blocks recieve a small 11-piece set; a 28-piece zoo themed set; plus new 40- and 70-piece sets.

TYCO provides the opening dozen pages of its 1985 catalog to the Super Blocks line, continuing their importance with the company.

For their third year in TYCO's line, the Super Blocks received two new sub categories. The Super Blocks Robo-Bloxx line of transforming beings appeared to have its inspiration in the then-newly popular Transformers toy line. The other new group joining the 1986 Super Blocks were two Road Builder sets. The established Space and Castle theme sets got some new bad guys to do battle with in the form of Super Blocks Space Alien and Super Blocks Black Knights sets.

The Pre-School Super Blocks received new sets, including a circus train, and two new storage offerings, TYCO Teddy Storage Bear and Deluxe Wagon, were added.
