Here's an interesting view of a TYCO prototype SD24 dressed in Western
Pacific colors. The model was finished on its ends and fireman's side, but the engineer's side was left plain silver.
One would assume that supplying the ends and one side would be ample information regarding the suggested silver and orange
WP paint.
TYCO did produce a Western Pacific GP20 model in 1979 that closely resembles the style shown
on this prototype SD24. A TYCO Streamline Cupola Caboose also exists that appears to be a possible production item
or very well along prototype, as it is stamp lettered and not hand painted as is the case with the above SD24.
