The TYCO 1966-67 catalog includes HO-scale model trains and slot cars. This is the only known
TYCO catalog presented in a landscape 11" x 8-1/2" in size. It carries a quarter cover price.
New for 1966 in the model train line were two engines: a 2-6-2
Prairie and an ALCO Century 430.
TYCO's Hooterville
Cannonball and Petticoat Junctioner, inspired
by the then popular CBS television series, Petticoat
Junction and the Disneylander based on the Disneyland Railroad
attraction found then at the only Walt Disney theme park, Disneyland in Calfornia.
Slot cars had no new automobile offerings for 1966-67. The TYCO slot car product line was in
its fourth year of existence, having been introduced in the 1963-64 catalog.
