Mantua's first annual product catalog from the company's
late '70s return to HO-scale model trains is this orange covered publication containing a dozen pages of black and white images.
The catalog begins with a brief history of the company and includes John Tyler's portrait, which
would be included for a number of years in Mantua's annual catalogs. The HO-scale Steam Engines take up the majority of the
catalog and are listed numerically by the stock number designations. Beginning with the 301-series little Booster 0-4-0 through
the 314-series USRA Alco & Tender 0-8-0, there are 15 different offerings in Mantua steam for '78. Pages 8 and 9 include
the three Diesel Locomotives (F7A, GP20, and Plymouth Yard Diesel) in Mantua's 1978 collection. Page 10 details the eight
Rolling Stock offerings available for 1978. The catalog concludes with parts information.
