Three flavors of carbonated beverages are featured in Lionel's first series of Soda Pop Road Box Cars in the 1977 catalog: A&W Root Beer (No. 6-7801), Canada Dry Ginger Ale (No. 6-7802) and Pepsi Cola (No. 6-7800). In the 1978 Lionel catalog, Dr. Pepper, Orange Crush and Vernor's are included in the Soda Pop Road Box Cars. The category is gone in 1979.
