Lionel 1973 catalog

Lionel brings the F3-A diesel to its MPC-General Mills Era roster beginning in 1973 with the release of the Baltimore & Ohio powered and dummy models. An Amtrak F3 in powered and dummy examples is cataloged in 1974. Southern F3 diesels in powered and dummy versions are included in the 1975 Lionel catalog. The famous Santa Fe red and silver warbonnet arrives in 1976. In 1979, Pennsy and New Haven F3s are cataloged. A powered and dummy chrome-plated pair of F3s in Burlington subsidary Colorado & Southern are found in the Texas Zephyr Collector Series release of 1980. Again featured in a Collector Series release, Lionel presents gray New York Central F3s in 1983's Twentieth Century Limited.
