Kato's HO-scale lightweight business car model is introduced in late 2002.  The model is reviewed in the January, 2003 edition of Model Railroader magazine.  In that review, it is stated the prototype is a Budd built 1952 car named Burlington that was used by Chicago, Burlington & Quincy.  Jim Hediger's review inlcudes mention that Amtrak and Santa Fe examples were also similar to the Burlington prototype used by Kato for this model.  The 2002 retail was $47.98 for this model.
