Bachmann's 1987 catalog includes this set with a retail price of $88.00.  The Prussia set, which included the loco, three coaches, an oval of track building a 45" x 36" layout, and power pack would return for a second year in 1988 and then was gone from Bachmann's catalogs.  The Prussia was part of Bachmann's "Classic Collector Series" train set offerings, first found in the 1985 catalog.  These sets included unique packaging, as illustrated by The Prussia box found to the right below...

The little Prussia steam locomotive was offered by Bachmann as a separately sold item.  The 1986 catalog first includes the model with a retail price of $42.00.
