AHM's Container Carrier appears to be built from the ACF prototype.
ACF's RD-52 constructed at the company's Huntington plant during the late 1950s and into the early '60s. The prototype
road on 70-ton trucks, similar to those found on the AHM model. The prototype Container Carrier featured the large side
name plates, as found on the AHM car. Information regarding the prototype and a picture of a Du Pont example may be
found in Signature Press' book "American Car & Foundry" by Ed Kaminski.
The AHM Container Carrier was produced by Roco in Austria. The underframe, which is shared with
the AHM Pulpwood Rack Car, includes the Roco diamond logo and Austria markings.
