There appear to be at least two production runs of AHM's Extended Vision
Caboose carrying the 5485 stock number series. One run includes a letter suffix with the 5485 stock number; while
the other includes a two-digit numeral suffix. The letter series seems to be the first of the two runs and both runs
are from Roco in Austria.
Roco's tooling on this HO-scale model for AHM closely resembles the same caboose made in O-scale by
Roco for Atlas in the 1970s. Model Power is known to have a run of these caboose models in its product line around the
same time they were produced for AHM.
