AHM lists this car as "N.P." on the box flap, which is actually Northern Pacific's reporting marks;
Nickel Plate was "N.K.P." The first example features separate ladders and the roof is painted black. The second
example has the cast-on ladders and is red, except for the silver band on the side. Both versions have been found in
AHM boxes carrying the 5279-C stock number.
